| It's not out of disrespect that I'm late on this one- just pure greed (work). I was a bit north of NY that day (lived in ME at the time), but I had already purchased my Greyhound ticket to move back out west by then. I passed through the Port Authority on September 27th and, after reaching NJ by way of the Lincoln tunnel, I looked back and even then saw a massive cloud of black smoke rising out of lower Manhattan. Every time I tell the story of the first time that I saw the Twin Towers people look at me like I'm romanticizing it due to latter circumstances, but I was 19 and it was my first time to NY...I walked from Times Square to what is now Ground Zero and looked up in awe. Idiots who need to feel like they are smart enough to be in on some kind of larger truth (like the religious) need to watch a few episodes of Penn & Teller's Bull$hit and only then post. Recently I heard someone ask (paraphrasing): "A bunch of religious whackos trained for years to find a way to take down trophy buildings of the most powerful nation in the world and used simple tools to cause the death of many innocent people who were merely going to work that day...isn't that enough of a conspiracy for you people?!" I, myself, would ask, "What exactly *should* the floors of a massive building sound like when they are violently slamming down upon eachother?"
