| Sounds probable...if you still have the oil pressure sender on the car, it should turn the pump on after you have cranked the car enuf to build oil pressure over 4 psi as it serves as a back up to the relay.
If you have a hot wire kit, then you will have to figure out which relay is bad. Factory relay, or the hot wire relay
