Right on! I loved this car! I adored it and treated it with respect and spared no expense to make it what I thought it could be - which in the end was simply a Regal Sport Coupe with a 4-bbl carburetor, but this thing really felt a lot faster than 165 HP. My point of reference was limited though at the time since my first ever car was a 1979 231 V-6 standard edition Regal (not even including a radio). I cared for and loved that car since I had been 12 years old. At 17 I got the brown Regal Turbo Sport Coupe (which I paid for with my own money at the time) and found that one of the center (pasenger side) exhaust valve had a hole (literally a hole) in it, thus that cylinder constantly fouled out plugs. After the head wor was done, block punched .030" over, crank cut .010" under, and rebuilt 4-bbl Rochester with rebuilt AIResearch turbo, and a new Turbo 350 trans, this thi ng was a monster that nobody in my town wanted to mess with. In my opinion, it was a dog and thought that there was much more potential in that motor, thus the SFI Intercooled Turbo motor. I know there was another motor or two in between so please don't bust my nuts about it.

I think I'm pretty good in terms of knowledge on the carbed cars, but now that I just bought a 1987 GN, I'm a little lost. I'm good with Megasquirt and have adapted that to another project (which also turned out to be a turbo project). That was a 1981 Fiat Spider 2000 - Turbo.

Anyway, I'm glad to be back in the Buick turbo game again. It's bee way too long and I really missed it. I'm all ears to learn again and hope that by my experience having the carbed motors torn apart before that I may have something of value to offer in terms of knowledge.

I look forward to speaking with each and every one of you.

Best,
