Thank you

I have a 87 GN garage queen basically stock low mile one owner with lots of chrome under the hood, Boyd Coddington wheels and a stock transmission. This hot operation upshift-downshift problem has been bothering me for years and this is the first place I have heard of the TCC solenoid problem. I have been instructed to : 1. Put in a good additive and not change the fluid.
2. Change the governor (hard part to find)
c. flush the system
4. After a well know transmission builder called a help line
I was told to replace the 1-2 shift valve. $500.00 later
problem still existed.
5. add a cooler
6. I was told that I was nuts that when I disconnected the
speedo the car ran better.
7. I read this post to change the TCC.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
I need to thank 77 cruiser! thanks dude. $50.00 fix!
