| again it is a class for street driven cars...maybe a cruise in the morning..3 runs like Dan said and then a final cruise after the runs...if your car cannot make the cruise then you are dq'd...the more I think about the 3 runs and then average the runs...you could have 2 winners...low ET and top MPH....heads up racing just to get your timeslips....this would promote ringing out your car, but not to the point of breaking it as you know you have a 25 mile cruise after the racing is done....after you make your run...you then have to do the cruise...this could be to someone in the parking lot of the host hotel...with cell phones and internet the information could be relayed from the track to the checkpoint as to who is coming...that car/driver would then pick up a ticket or voucher proving that they made it....or something along those lines |
