Get ahold of Lou- he'll steer you in the right direction. Or, Sod Bogosian may have a line on a good machine shop.

I can understand that you want to cut out the middleman, although I do not not necessarily agree with that theory though, but I still think that Lou or Sod would steer you in the right direction.

I've had good results from the guys at Nutech Engines in Lakeside Ca. Both the father Britt and son James are a PITA from time to time but they know what they're doing. They do mostly Chevy stuff as you might imagine and BBC is their forte' but they know Buick's too. Their machine work is top notch.

Sod turned around a 3.8 with main caps & a 3.8 stroker motor main capped in 2 weeks for us.
Both JE pistons, decked, blue printed etc.
I have never seen 1 motor much less 2 done that fast. From the time we shipped till it was on it's way back here 3 weeks had passed.
I figured I'll ship him 2 while were moving & it will be 2 less things to move.
I was just like DAYUMN!
I think having a middle man who supplies alot of business to a machine shop will get you done faster in my opinion.

why would i want to pay you to take my block (or have them pick it up) just so they can do the work and you take all the credit, crank the rod on that old brain of yours im not paying "U" the middle man to take the credit for the machine shop, sod and manny are very good friends of mine i see manny on a weekly basis (hes my snap on guy) and i bought a pita loud of parts from sod in the past and have been to his house and visited his personal and impressive car collection, i guess if i dont throw money at you i wont get any VENDOR SUPPORT right lou. i tried to avoid alot of the crap that people say about you but damn im starting to think that its all true

Married! you still haven't answered my question is Sod a middleman or a friend & why aren't you supporting him.As for me taking credit for someone elses work.I work closely with many others to make things possible. My machinist does work per my instructions & knows nothing about Buicks I like all the rest of the vendors pay dearly for R&D to make things happen so people like yourself have someone to go to. As far as vendor support I don't work for chiselers that claim friendship while picking my pockets. I'm way smarter than that.

I guess if some of us want to do our own work were getting into this OLD bitch's pockets......go figure. I used to send alot of people to you too Lou, how could you not be interested in getting money; isn't that your job??? So what if we want to cut the middleman? Don't we all??? So what if we dont want to make punk ass people like you rich; do we have to just because youre a vendor??? I remember you charged my buddy $700 to check an alky system and had that car running worse than when it came in..... Don't get me wrong, you've done marvelous work with Brent's car and many others, but I'm sure it was big $$$, and I'm sure the same work could've been done at a way lesser price.

All of the SoCal people need to read this thread and see what this old man
(LOU) is really out for; obviously not for the love of these cars and helping you go fast....but all about "picking your pockets". Lou's punk ass will charge you just to LOOK at your car!!!!!! Very True.....

Maybe Jeff Price could help.....
Sod at HYE tech could have someone pick up your stuff $$$$
Pete will build your whole F*ng motor over the weekend.....
Nick Micale could set you up with a killer 4.1
Anderson WOULD get your 109 in the 9's.....

You have alot of options..... VadersV6 has a good machine shop; PM him
Wicked87GN knows about alot of machine shops as well.......

Make some phone calls and save that $$$$$$!!!!!

Mods and this website in General will always support vendors.....very biased in my opinion, but you know how it is on here.....
