| Yes... I heads up racing it's going to be critical to have the boost almost instant. If your willing to run a way loose converter to do that then you'd be ok.
I'm trying to enter the Pump Gas drags for next year and I'm not willing to give up the tight converter I have. I could have a company build me a trans that has a bypass internaly that adds a extra 1000rpm to your converter when engauged but we are talking 5500.00 for a tranny. That's not going to happen for several years for me. It's a perfect way to run a tight conveter and have the added stall you need to get spooled quick.
I've not used the transbrake on my car yet so it may be better than the foot brake (from what I'm told)
Lots of bugs to work out on the short end of the track for me.
It may come down to busting out some old Nitrous stuff I've got laying around and use it to perk the engine up right off the bat and let off after 1st gear. Not sure yet but those guys on the Pump Gas Drag's don't mess around. You gota Bring it!
