a 2 bar, or a 3 bar, or a 4 bar, all use 1 bar of resolution to read the atmospheric pressure. Therefore:
A 2 bar is out of range once you get 14# of boost. [1 bar for atmos, 1 bar for boost.]
A 3 bar allows you to read up to high 20's on boost.
So, if you are at 15-17#, you have already exceeded the 2 bar sensor's range.
As for the lights.. Whatever floats your boat!!
