It is legit. Paypal even has the detail on their website, and you can go to a page to register your claim with the law firm handling this suit. You don't need to provide any credit card or password information, just your mailing address, e-mail address, and a description of your claim (considering that the information they ask for can be dug up by pretty much anyone on the Internet). The page the claim is on is linked to a law firm website, and they are listed in the yellow pages and the receptionist said they're handling the suit. If it's a scam of some sort, it is possibly the most elaborate scam yet conceived.
