Just a suggestion:

Posting a selling price/ball back figure really helps out.

I remember when I was looking for my car I followed a guy into an LCBO in Brampton and asked him if he was interested in selling. He said it's always an option if the right price came up. Well he couldn't even give me a ballpark, just said make an offer over and over again.

I didn't want to insult/lowball or overpay either so I just didn't pursue it.

Found mine a couple of weeks later.
