Are you on crack?? I don't think that anyone here has posted any prices for work they have had done to their short blocks in this post. If you are simply trying to infer that you don't need a healthy engine rebuilt to run quick, then I agree. The reason that I have a rebuilt engine in my one of my GN's is because I have the original engine under the bench and I had a spare engine to rebuild.
Please don't try to tell us that you have never broken anything because I seem to remember reading a post about you breaking down at a race in the states.
