The engine in my 86 GN (the one my dad bought in 1986) was built by Gor-den in New York State. This engine was built in the winter of 1990 - 1991 and was raced extensively until the end of 1995 running a best of 11.38 @ 120.25 mph. This engine has performed flawlessly except when my dad ran a little lean and popped a head gasket. We bracket raced this car and engine and it always performed as expected, that is what you want from an engine that is professionally built. Where ever you take your engine don't push them to hurry up and finish it. Let them do their job and provide you with a solid engine that will run without problems.
Good luck,
