yourself, you can not get a better rebuilder who knows or cares as much as you do ! a engine rebuild is 80% machine work 20% assembly. you can be the best at assembling a engine but if the machine work is not there , it's junk . the engine I just assemblied I purchased off of a list member who had the machine work done by a shop who has a good rep with these engines . He thought so and is pretty knowledgeable . so I have my fingers crossed and hope all goes well .Personally the next one I do from scratch . the machine work will be done by "Entec Racing" and I'll do the assembly myself. I'm a little anal putting these things together having been burnt to many times .also being a clean freak and paying attention to detail helps. power washing the engine twice and using 6-7 cans of "brake clean" on the components is a little over the top , but that's me

. there are a few list members on this board that I would feel comfortable doing the assembly as well . one or two of these guys, having been putting together Stage 2 engines with good results. like I stated above , the engine is only as good as the machine work.
Reason going with Entec : Been in the biz for over 35 years .with a proven track record . Don is one of the most anal and fussy to detail people I have met. When you go there on more than one occasion and you see 2 million dollar off-shore Formula 1 boats being brought up there from the States for them to work on and build the engines . You know something must be up

.The only reason they did not do my first engine was , I tried to "cheap out" and not pay their prices .Big lesson learened .I got sucked in by someone who " talked the talk but did not walk the walk" and had decent prices. Granted yes .Entec is little more expensive , but you do get what you pay for in the long run .
