Steve.....reading your post about popping the IC hose made me remember when that happened to me. I had owned my GN for only a few months. I was cruising through the Blue Ridge Mountains in West Virginia. I was headed up a steep hill, pulling about 14 lbs, when I heard a noise that I can only describe as the loudest fart I've ever heard! That was immediately followed by a huge loss of power! Scared the crap out of me! I thought something really expensive probably let go. I limped it up the rest of the hill & down the other side. I found a gas station & pulled in. Opened the hood & saw the torn IC hose. Found a suitable piece of radiator hose & clamped it on. Boy, was I relieved! While looking for that station, I had visions of towing my GN back to Minnesota! (I did replace the chunk of radiator hose with the heavy-duty IC hose from Kirban's when I got home!)
